A Higher Love

I realized that because of my love for you and really – your love for me…that I am actually learning more about God…Through you I am able to experience a higher love – a love with solid lines and clean energy…a love that is constant and dynamic…a love that grows in strength – like a storm – but still maintains its identity – as love…it is absolutely beautiful…and it feels like a higher experience…like the way God feels to me…like your love is a pathway of sorts …what we have is a pathway…to something higher and so beautiful…that between us –you and I -  is something divine

Love Is Better than Wine

Song of Solomon 1: 1-7

This is Solomon’s
    most beautiful song.

She Speaks:
Kiss me tenderly!
Your love is better than wine,
    and you smell so sweet.
All the young women adore you;
the very mention of your name
    is like spreading perfume.
Hurry, my king! Let’s hurry.
    Take me to your home.

The Young Women Speak:
We are happy for you!
And we praise your love
    even more than wine.

She Speaks:
Young women of Jerusalem,
it is only right
    that you should adore him.
My skin is dark and beautiful,
like a tent in the desert
    or like Solomon’s curtains.
Don’t stare at me
just because the sun
    has darkened my skin.
My brothers were angry with me;
they made me work in the vineyard,
    and so I neglected
    my complexion.
Don’t let the other shepherds
    think badly of me.
I’m not one of those women
who shamelessly follow
    after shepherds

My darling, I love you!

The Time is Now

Song of Solomon 2:10-13

10 “My beloved responded and said to me,
Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
And come along.
11 ‘For behold, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
12 ‘The flowers have already appeared in the land;
The time has arrived for [a]pruning the vines,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.
13 ‘The fig tree has ripened its figs,
And the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance.
Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
And come along!’”
